Cinque Terra part two

We scrambled down the platform to find room in cars near the engine and to avoid what could have been a dangerous situation (Peggy got elbowed in hte ribs as a woman pushed past her to board the train). We rode to the fi-fth town, Monterosso, and the throng left the train and headed for the old part of town. At this point, we had had enough of crowds and pushy people and found a great little seaside restaurant in hte 'new' part of town and enjoyed oa lunch of spaghetti and mussels (brian ) and clams(Peggy) with salad and washed down with a local white wine. We shared the day with Linda and Leslee, and have really found them great travelling companions. Dave and Barb took a tour of Florence and we all re-united over dinner tonight.
Tomorrow, we will be in Naples and the plan is to catch the ferry to Capri.
